RISE Education is a comprehensive provider for educators offering customizable curriculum and quality teachers across core subjects and specialty areas including world languages, art, music, physical education, and technology.
How it started: When RISE Education founder and CEO Angel Li started a family, she wanted her children to be able to share in her culture by learning Chinese. Li was shocked when she couldn’t find a Chinese class that engaged children.
Instead of being demotivated, she decided to start her own: RISE Education.
A year later, after developing a unique language curriculum tailored to children, Li began teaching classes out of her living room. Soon, she began offering group lessons, individual tutoring and even summer camp all out of her home.
As demand continued to increase, Li brought in other teachers and trained them in her unique child-friendly curriculum.
It soon became clear that Li’s method not only allowed children to learn but made them really enjoy the experience.
Soon, schools began asking if she could help them find music instructors. Instead of just finding teachers, she developed a comprehensive music curriculum, and trained talented music teachers to deliver engaging classes! From there, she added art, technology, and physical education programs.
Over the past decade, RISE has expanded into a one-stop source for core curriculum, world languages, art, music, physical education, and technology that prioritizes helping children learn in a fun and engaging environment.
Its array of programs caters to private, parochial, and public schools, along with preschools and childcare centers across the United States.
At RISE Education, we aim to expand the accessibility of culturally rich core and specialty programs that encourage children to embrace unique perspectives, enrich their lives and strengthen their communities.
We work with more than 80 schools nationwide, including public, private, parochial, and charter schools. We also serve preschools, childcare centers, and community organizations. We also teach students through one-on-one tutoring learning pods, small groups, and online.
